Social Attachment of the Skill Initiative Programme

                                                The Skill Initiative Programme initiated by Hon'ble Amdar Shri. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, is introduced to achieve following social objectives

· To solve the employment problems of the youths by creating  employment opportunity.

· The focus of the Programme is to integrate remote areas in mainstream of the economy

· To Channalize youth energy in productive work.

· Increase the standard of living with productivity and efficiency of the youth in the rural area.

· To improve skills of the people, solve the problems of unorganized sector as per the regional & local needs.

· Planned rural-urban migration.

· Socio economic integration of backward and remote areas.

· To bring out the balance development between services manufacturing and agriculture sector.

· Develop blue-collar work to international standard by globalizing the skill.

·  Provide the educational training connecting to the employment.

·  Empowerment of Women.

· Large scale unplanned rural urban migration cab be control, which control the problems of crime and poverty.

· To make the India “The Skill Capital of The World”

About City & Guilds

             City & Guilds of England Institute is an independent organization operating under the Royal Charter.  It is non-profit making body involved in vocational learning and skill.  It was established in UK in 1878 to provide bench marking of skill of Artisans, craftsman and the Guilds.  It has presence in over 100 countries and has 9500 centers across the world and offers qualification in 22 sectors.  The area included Agriculture, Health Care, Construction, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Retail, Hair & Beauty Therapy, and IT etc.
