About Pravara Rural Education Society

Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil established Pravara Rural Education Society in 1964. Hon'ble Shri. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil (M.P.) continued the Herculean task of looking after the institutions meticulously founded by his father and also continued opening new institutions wherever needed. Hon'ble Shri. Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil (M.L.A.) possesses dynamic personality and pragmatic vision. He is taking very keen interest in the progress of various institutions of Pravara Rural Education Society and has taken-up the Herculean task of modernizing the systems and Processes.

Pravara Rural Education Society, Pravaranagar is recognized as Rural India's novel Education Society. Today it has blossomed into an ultra modern and multi dimensional Education Complex. It runs a large number of educational institutions like College of Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Home Science, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Biotechnology, Arts, Commerce and Science, B.Ed. & B.P.Ed & D.Ed.offering education from Graduate to Post Graduate level, besides Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools, Residential Girls and boys Schools, Pravara Public School, Pravaranagar for boys is also located in this area.

The District Vocational Education and Training officer made following comments in respect of the institutes.

The Best I.T.C. including Ladies I.T.C., which I have seen since last ten years. The Trades are already affiliated. The Management has taken keen interest in Developing Both I.T.C.’s. I wish every success in future Development.
